Beaches
If you love the beach, you'll love Brewster! Five of the most picturesque beaches on Cape Cod Bay are in Brewster - Crosby Landing, Ellis Landing, Breakwater Beach, Robbins Hill Beach, and Paines Creek Beach. There are also freshwater beaches on Long Pond, Sheeps Pond, Upper Mill Pond, Cliff Pond and Flax Pond. Nature
Nature lovers revel in Brewster. A full third of Brewster has been reserved for conservation land, open space and recreation. Stroll the paths of Nickerson State Park. Visit the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, then walk one of the three nature trails behind the museum out to the bay. Hike, canoe or picnic in the Punkhorn Parklands.

History
During the 18th and 19th centuries Brewster was home to many wealthy sea captains. Their mansions now serve as the bed and breakfasts that adorn Route 6A. History buffs will enjoy the Brewster Historical Society Museum, the Crosby Mansion and the New England Fire & History Museum (Tel: 508/896-5711).

Recreation
For golfers, there's the public 36-hole Captains Golf Course , and Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club. Bicyclists can enjoy the 26-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail or the hilly bike trails of Nickerson State Park. Fishermen can head out on charter fishing boats in Cape Cod Bay, or one of the stocked freshwater ponds in town: Long Pond, Sheep Pond, Cliff Pond, or Seymour Pond. Baseball fans can watch the Brewster Whitecaps as they play other teams in the renowned Cape Cod Baseball League.

Brewster Loves Families!

	Take the kids for a bike ride on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, running through the heart of Brewster and into Nickerson State Park with its own network of bike trails.
	Watch the Brewster Whitecaps as they play other teams in the renowned Cape Cod Baseball League.
	At low tide, head out to the Brewster Flats. Small children can safely splash around in the tidal pools, an it's a great place to toss a frisbee or fly a kite.
	Check out the special one-hour children's performances going on all summer long at the Cape Rep Theatre.
	The one-week summer camp at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is also a favorite with children.
	Don't forget the whale watches, the Wellfleet Drive-In, the Zooquarium, seal cruises, mini-golf, go-carts, and story hours at the library and book stores.
